Hi all,
I've had a devil of a time getting online recently. The satellite that the ship uses to connect to the internet has been down due to a software issue, so I've only been able to jump on briefly in port if I've been able to find an internet cafe (which would have been much easier if I'd not stopped taking Spanish when I was 13!!). The link is tentatively working right now, but it keeps kicking me off so I'm going to have to be brief today. I'm going to type out a long update to hopefully upload in the next couple of days, but in the meantime the quick skinny is that we left the Canary Islands yesterday to begin our five day trip across the Atlantic. Ship life is interesting, kind of a combination of a college dorm, a summer camp (without the councilors), an office environment and the chaos of a Broadway production that's perpetually stuck in the moment five minutes before the curtain goes up.
I'm going to try to post a picture here, I think I've figured out how to make that work. If all goes as planned, you should see me with the pizza margherita I had in Naples (!!).
Back to rehearsal for me!
